ALEXANDER BIKHTER

Born in 1951 in Leningrad. While studying in high school, attended art room of the Palace of Pioneers, led by SD Levin. In 1972 he graduated from the Institute of Culture. NK Krupskaya. After graduation worked as a designer at the factory "Plastpribor." By this time is closer to Alexander Manusovym.  Since 1983 - Member of TEII (the pilot of the Association of Fine Arts) and a permanent member of its exhibitions. From 1987 to 1992 led the art studio with teenage club "Change". Since 1994 - Member of the Union of Artists of Russia.  Works are in State Russian Museum, the Museum of city history, the Museum of Nonconformist Art (Pushkinskaya, 10), Museum Tsarskoselskaya Collection "," Manege ", and in private collections in Russia and abroad.  Since 1990, the book deals with graphics, designed the series of books for children. Participated in many group exhibitions, including the annual "St. Petersburg" in "Manege", "Avant-garde on the Neva. Exhibitions:
1983 City exhibition with Union of Experimental Art team of unofficial artists of Leningrad.
For the last 15 years he has been taking part in more than 20 exhibition of the biggest art galleries of St. Petersburg and CIS countries.
Paintings and graphics works of Alexander Bikhter are kept in public (Museum of the History of St.-Petersburg) and private collections in Russia, USA, Israel, and Canada.
